12H INTRO TO ROCKET IMMERSION

During this weekend you'll learn from the basics to more advanced transitions of the Rocket Sequences. teach you the tools to improve your practice, your capacity to adapt and transform yourself.
We'll learn and practice variations and transitions that you can incorporate to the well-known Rocket sequences. We will have special workshops focused on improving your warm up, backbends, inversions and arm balances and transitions.
What is Rocket Yoga? Rocket Yoga was created by Larry Shultz in San Francisco during the 80`s, who was an Ashtanga practicioner and a student of Pattabhi Jois.
Over time different teachers and references had been emerged with different backgrounds, still maintaining the foundations of Larry Shultz system. It's a dynamic style with 3 sequences of postures that modify the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. The students are invited to challenge themselves doing variations and modifications.
Rocket Yoga is a style and dynamic way to practice vinyasa yoga in general. It is an accessible practice open to all levels that maintains a basic structure on which we can add postures or variations. The object is to adapt the practice offering the possibility to develop a strong practice. We work on arm balances, handstands and backbends.
The Sequences
Rocket I: Based on the primary series of Ashtanga and focused on forward fold, and hips openers. It helps to develop strong legs and abs.
Rocket II: Based on the second and advanced series of the Ashtanga and focused on backbends and arm balancing poses. Includes twisting and chest opening.
Rocket III is the combination of the sequences and it's called BBQ or Happy Hour :)

In the practice segment, we’ll cover basic alignment principles to ensure you feel confident and safe in your poses. You’ll learn:

We will modify mostures to bring emphasis to our upper body, Use different tools like blocks, the wall, to bring awareness to body parts that we usually don't use or are asleep. The class is for you if you wanna gain confidence on your handstands and elbow stands, if you think you are missing alignment, strength, is you cant hold them yet or you just want to discover a different approach on inverted postures.

HANDSTAND WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS

Do you want to learn how to do a handstand?
Join this workshop where you will learn everything you need to know to balance safely upside down!
The workshop is designed for those who:
✔ never did a handstand before
✔ have a problem with alignment, stability, finding balance
✔ can balance their handstand for a few seconds (without a wall), but quickly lose it
✔ are movement teachers, looking for inspiration and guidance on how to teach handstand to others
We will work on:
FOUNDATIONS STRENGTH BALANCE
WORKSHOP PLAN:
We will spend 3h on building solid foundations for the practice. The workshop plan includes:
✔ learning the correct warm-up and relaxation after training
✔ working on the correct positioning of the body, strength, sense of balance
✔ explanation of the correct positioning of the shoulder girdle in a handstand and exercises for opening the shoulders
✔ learning the correct core-work
✔ exercises to increase the mobility of the thoracic spine
✔ learning how to jump into a handstand, balance, interesting exercises to increase body awareness
✔ learning to assist others
During the workshop you will work on increasing your self-confidence and awareness of your body. You will learn to perform exercises that will help you unite your body and mind and create a solid foundation for handstand. You will work both independently and in groups, in an atmosphere of full support and mutual concern for safety, appropriate for all levels of advance.

Join this 1,5h workshop about pincha mayurasana - the forearmstand.
"Forearmstand - basics"
In this course you will learn how to practice forearmstand and balance in this position. We will break down this yoga pose to help you understand how to build solid foundations, and make your practice effective and safe. You will learn how to adapt this pose to your unique body type, how to stabilize your shoulders and balance with confidence. I will introduce you to many amazing exercises that will make balancing on your forearms easier than you think!
Open yourself to an exploration of pincha mayurasana! I can't wait to explore this asana with you.
HANDSTAND PLAYTIME:

This workshop is dedicated to all who are interested in diving deeper into the world of handstands. We will explore various handstand shapes, such as "seven", "tuck" or "straddle", or even "scorpio" and "hollowback". We will also look at different entries to handstand such as tuck jump and press up. Some experience in handstands would be useful, but joining the basic Saturday's workshop is already a great base for this one!
This workshop is open for everyone, with a regular yoga or handstand practice, who are curious about new stuff, and open to learn and explore!

Support the Master in you! Eine fundierte und starke Praxis ist das was Sara Lyn in ihrem Unterricht anstrebt. Passend zu ihrem Buch Release „Yoga mit Hilfsmitteln“ gibt sie am 3.10. eine Masterclass bei uns, um dir neue Impulse für eine solide und sichere Praxis zu geben. Mit Hilfe der Props bauen wir die stehenden Asanas detailliert und gewissenhaft auf und nähern uns mit funktionalen Übungen herausfordernden Posen, sowie Umkehrhaltungen und Arm Balances. Im zweiten Teil erwartet dich ein Deep Stretching gefolgt von einem Restorative Yin Yoga mit Einsatz der Hilfsmittel, sodass du an diesem Feiertag stärker und gleichzeitig entspannter von der Matte gehst. Vorkenntnisse sind erwünscht, jedoch nicht zwingend notwendig. Im Anschluss erfolgt eine FAQ Runde mit Tee und Snacks sowie Signatur des Buches.
